Frequently asked questions
Answers for choosing, setting up, and supporting your raised bed.
Find practical answers about size, soil, included parts, compatibility, orders, and product support.
Choosing a bed
What should I consider before choosing a raised bed?
Measure the usable footprint and note the light, water access, and working room around the bed. Then compare the assembled dimensions and height on the product page.
Which bed size is right for my space?
Choose a footprint that leaves room to reach the growing area and move around the bed. Compact beds suit smaller sites; longer beds provide more planting area but need more access space.
How much soil will I need?
Use the bed's confirmed inside length, inside width, and intended fill depth. Convert the measurements to one unit, multiply them, and allow for settling when planning the final amount.
Setup and compatibility
What comes with each raised bed?
Included parts vary by model. Check the product details and assembly information for the selected bed. Contact Gardout with the exact product title if the list is incomplete or unclear.
What should I prepare before assembly?
Choose a level working area, review the instructions, and check the included-parts list before starting. Use only the tools named in the current assembly information.
How do I check whether an accessory is compatible?
Compare the accessory listing with the exact bed model and size. If both product pages do not state the match clearly, contact Gardout before ordering.
