Warranty coverage

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. Coverage applies to the original Gardout product and parts or accessories included with the original purchase.

Warranty periods

Two-year limited warranty

Gardout metal and plastic garden products, including raised garden beds, elevated beds, planters, extension components, trellises, cover systems, non-powered watering products, composters, supports, and non-powered accessories.

One-year limited warranty

Gardout electrical products and powered accessories, including grow lights, powered watering components, electrical composting products, heat mats, and solar-powered products.

The warranty period begins on the original delivery date.

Who is covered

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required. Products must be installed, used, cared for, and maintained according to the supplied instructions.

Start a warranty claim

Email Service@gardout.com with:

  • The order number and proof of purchase
  • The product name or SKU
  • Clear photos of the product and issue
  • Packaging and production-code photos when available
  • A short description of installation, use, and when the issue was discovered

Gardout may request additional reasonable verification before deciding a claim.

Available remedy

For an approved claim, Gardout may repair the product, provide replacement parts, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or provide another remedy required by applicable law. The remedy depends on the verified issue and product availability.

The warranty does not cover labor, removal, installation, diagnosis, soil, plants, loss of use, or incidental expenses.

Warranty exclusions

  • Normal wear, minor scratches, surface wear, or gradual color change from outdoor exposure
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, improper installation or maintenance, or unauthorized modification or repair
  • Extreme weather, natural events, standing water, unsuitable soil, or corrosive substances
  • Accessories, hardware, or components not supplied or approved for the product
  • Carrier damage, products used outside their stated purpose, or products relocated outside the United States

Customers may also have rights that vary by state.
